The only arrest entry for bail court appearance this morning is a 31 year-old male arrested on the 19th of February at 3:40 pm on Albion Street. He was charged with one count of breach of a release order and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that city police stopped and checked a vehicle on Albion Street that the accused was driving and at the time his wife was a passenger. The accused is on a court undertaking order with conditions not to communicate or be with his wife as a result of past domestic related incidents and was also on a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Possession of a Weapon

38 year-old John Perry of 678 Lennox Avenue was arrested on the 19th of February at 11:20 pm by Customs officers at Canada Customs on Huron street and charged with one count of possession of a weapon for purpose dangerous to public and one count of possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle. It is alleged that on the 19th of February around 11:00 pm the accused entered Canada in his vehicle and during a secondary search conducted by custom officers he was found in possession of two Panther stun guns. He was arrested by the custom officers and held for police. He is to appear in court on the 31st of March.

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime & Outstanding Warrants

23 year-old Dustin Schrik of 561 Dundas Street was arrested on the 19th of February at 3:48 pm at an east end residence on an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of careless storage of a firearm, one count of possession of a weapon obtained by crime and one count of possession of a firearm contrary to order. It is alleged that on the 5th of January 2008, the accused had in his possession, at his previous west end residence, a rifle that was being stored unsafely and that had been reported stolen in a break and enter on Walls Road on the 5th of December, 2007. At the time of the incident the accused was on a prohibition order not to possess any firearms. The accused is to appear in court on the 31st of March.

Shoplifting from Rome's

46 year-old Constance Green of #1-270 St. James Street was arrested on the 19th of February at 2 pm at Rome’s Independent Grocer on Great Northern Road and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 19th of February at 2 pm the accused attended at Rome’s Grocer and stole $58.58 worth of groceries. She was apprehended by store security and held for police. She is to appear in court on the 7th of April.

Break & Enter

There was one break and enter reported yesterday to a residence on Texas Avenue that occurred on the 19th of February between 12:35 pm and 1:15 pm. A Laptop computer and a Toshiba satellite were reported stolen.
