At approximately 1:30 this morning an altercation in an apartment at 345 St Georges Avenue resulted in 42 year old Kimberly Jo White being arrested and charged with robbery, mischief and 2 counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that Ms. White entered another apartment at 345 St Georges and while inside assaulted a woman while attempting to steal a government cheque. The apartment is also alleged to have been ransacked by the accused. Ms. White will appear in bail court this morning at 10:00 AM.
At approximately 3:00 this morning officers responded to an alarm at GiGi’s restaurant on Great Northern Road and found a broken window. It is believed that entry was not gained to the business. Shortly after that city police received a call that Cali Nails at 317 Northern Avenue had a broken window. That investigation is continuing.
