Four persons attending bail court today: On Friday October 10th City Police were called to the Canada Customs Office at the International Bridge Plaza regarding a male that was arrested on a breach of an undertaking.

On Friday October 10th City Police were called to the Canada Customs Office at the International Bridge Plaza regarding a male that was arrested on a breach of an undertaking. It is alleged that on Friday October 10th.Tyler Soucie, age 22 of 154 Water St., Thessalon, attempted to enter the United States. The accused was refused entry and returned to Canada where he was arrested and charged with one count of breach of an undertaking. The accused breached the condition to not leave the Province of Ontario.

On Friday October 10th at approx. 2:00 pm a 23-year-old male attended at the City Police station and turned himself in on a warrant for assault. It is alleged that on Thursday October 9th the accused assaulted his common-law partner by shoving into a cabinet and then throwing her to the ground. The accused is charged with one count of assault.

On Saturday October 10th City Police arrested a 41-year-old male on a warrant and charged him with one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on October 10th the accused contacted his ex-common-law partner by phoning her several times. At the time of this offence the accused was on probation with conditions not to communicate with his ex-common-law partner.

On Saturday October 11th City Police arrested a 19-year-old male and charged him with three counts of assault, one count of assault causing bodily harm, one count of assault with a weapon and two counts of threatening death. It is alleged that on Friday October 10th at approx. 10:20 pm the accused attended at a house party on Northern Ave. E. and while there assaulted a male that was talking to the accused’s ex-girlfriend. The accused was removed from the residence but returned a short time later and once again assaulted the male, this time with a with a beer bottle. Prior to being removed the accused assaulted his ex-girlfriend and the homeowner. At approx. 11:20 pm the accused re-attended the residence with three male friends. The accused and his friends then located the male person and commenced assaulting him. The victim was kicked and punched while being held by several of the accused male’s friends. The suspects fled the scene prior to police involvement. The victim was taken to the hospital and was being treated for a broken jaw. City Police are continuing their investigation in to this incident and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the other three males. Break and Enter

City Police received one report of as break and enter over the weekend. A residence in the 100 block of Dacey Rd. was entered - it is unknown at this time what was taken.

Mischief reports

City Police received 12 reports of damaged mailboxes over the weekend. The following locations reported damage:
500 block of Third Line W
1100 block of Allen’s Side Rd.
1000 block of Base Line
100 block of Case Rd.
1300 block of Old Garden River Rd.
1100 block of Third Line E.
900 block of Base Line
300 block of Carpin Beach Rd.
1200 block of Town Line
100o block of Town Line
800 block of Leigh’s Bay Rd.
700 block of Carpin Beach Rd.
900 block of Fourth Line W.

Vehicles were damaged at the following locations:

200 block of Patrick St.
200 block of Albert St. W.
400 block of Old Garden River Rd.
300 block of Korah Rd - three vehicles.
100 block of Indiana Dr.
400 block of Northern Ave.
200 block of Goulais Ave - house was also egged.

A residence in the 100 block of Glen Ave was egged- for the second time in a month.

Fences were damaged at residences in the 100 block of Birchland Crt and in the 100 block of Dennis St.

Theft reports:

Vehicles were entered and items were reported stolen from the following locations:

100 block of Upton rd - two vehicles entered.
300 block of Devon Rd.
100 block of Pozzebon Cr
100 block of River d.
1000 block of Wellington St. E.
100 block of Huntington Park
Bicycles were reported stolen from residences in the 100 block of Princeton Cres and the 100 block of
Fourth Line E.
