THREE MEN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
Three young men were arrested last evening at 9:30 and have each been charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged they assaulted two other males, ages 20 and 23, by punching and kicking them. The incident occurred on the 1100 block of Lake Street.

Timothy Collins, age 18, of Newmarket has also been charged with one count of resisting arrest. Andrew Sawchyn, 19, of 123 St. George's Avenue East has been charged with one count of assault, and the third male, a 16-year old is charged with an additional count of assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged that he assaulted a 31-year old male as well. Collins will appear in bail court today. The 16-year old will appear on December 10 and Sawchyn on December 11.

BREAK AND ENTER
City officers are investigating a break-in at Westminster Church Hall at 134 Brock Street yesterday afternoon. The intrusion occurred between 9pm Sunday and Monday morning. No further details available as yet.
