On May 26, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested an 18-year-old male in relation to a domestic violence incident.

Male charged with break and enter

On May 27, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 17-year-old male in relation to a break and enter and mischief.

It is alleged that on May 27, the accused entered a vacant building in the 300 block of East Balfour and was spray-painting the walls inside. The accused was located inside the building by police and taken into custody.

The accused has been charged with one count of break and enter. He will appear in court on June 27, 2017.

Male charged with break and enter

On May 26, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 30-year-old Ryan Harris of Northern Avenue in relation to a break and enter.

It is alleged that on May 15, 2017 the accused entered a residence in the West End of the city and stole various items including fishing equipment and a chainsaw.

The accused was located by officers on May 26 and charged with one count of break and enter, one count of possession of stolen property and one count of breach of probation. He was held for bail court. 

Male charged in domestic violence incident

On May 26, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested an 18-year-old male in relation to a domestic violence incident.

It is alleged that on May 26, the accused engaged in a verbal argument with his girlfriend. During the argument, the accused struck the victim in the mouth and left the scene. The accused was later located by officers and charged with one count of assault. He will appear in court on June 28, 2017.
