Drug Warrant Arrest 23 year-old Derek Lethbridge of #12-102 Breton Road was arrested on the 3rd of March at 12:32 pm as a result of a drug warrant being executed at his residence.

23 year-old Derek Lethbridge of #12-102 Breton Road was arrested on the 3rd of March at 12:32 pm as a result of a drug warrant being executed at his residence.
He has been charged with one count of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance, two counts of possession of a controlled drug or substance, one count of unauthorized possession of a weapon, one count of possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition order and one count of breach of probation.
On the 3rd of March at 12:28 pm members of the Core Unit (Street Team), the Joint Forces Drug Unit, the Emergency Services Unit and Patrol Services executed a drug warrant at #12-102 Breton Road. It is alleged that during the course of the search, officers located approximately 155 grams of marihuana, a small amount of cocaine, a digital scale, drug paraphernalia and packaging. The total street value of the drugs seized was approximately $3,100.00. Officers further located a knife that opens with centrifugal force, a butterfly knife, which is a prohibited weapon. At the time, the accused was bound by a lifetime weapons prohibition order with conditions that he not possess any firearms or weapons. He was also on a probation order with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Domestic Dispute

A 26 year-old male was arrested on the 3rd of March at 8:09 am at the city police station as a result of a domestic dispute from the 26th of February. He has been charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm and three counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 26th of February at approximately 2:45 am the accused attended at the residence of his ex-girlfriend and assaulted her by slapping, pushing her to the floor and punching her several times in the head and face. The victim received non-life threatening injuries. At the time of the incident the accused was on a probation order with conditions that he not communicate with the victim, that he not attend at her place of residence and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

One Break & Enter

There was one break and enter reported yesterday to a residence on Huron Street that occurred sometime during the day. Some money and medication were reported stolen.
