Afternoon news At 3:30 pm this afternoon 49 year old Richard Barton of 208 Albert Street East was arrested at 293 Bay Street for theft. It is alleged the accused stole $23.04 worth of chocolates and socks.

At 3:30 pm this afternoon 49 year old Richard Barton of 208 Albert Street East was arrested at 293 Bay Street for theft.  It is alleged the accused stole $23.04 worth of chocolates and socks.  He will appear in court on March 17th, 2014

Morning news

In the afternoon on February 10, it was alleged that 23-year-old Jody Edwards of Elmwood Ave. attended to Romes and left the store without paying for an amount of meat and cheese. He was apprehended by store security and subsequently charged by police for theft under $5000.00. Further investigation revealed Mr. Edwards was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He will be appearing in Provincial Court March 10.

An 18-year-old female was arrested by city police officers early this morning and charged with mischief and breaching a condition of an undertaking. It is alleged she damaged a door at an east end residence of a male with which she was in a relationship with. She had also been drinking while she was on conditions not to do so. She will be attending Bail Court later this morning.
