Truck collides with SooToday offices (3 photos, video)

The collision resulted in damage to the front of the pickup and to the exterior and interior wall of the building

Police are on the scene of a late morning single-vehicle collision at the corner of Bruce Street and Queen Street East.

A pickup truck left the street and impacted the east wall of the Village Media offices at about 11:55 a.m. Village Media is the parent company of SooToday.

The collision resulted in damage to the front of the pickup and to the exterior and interior wall. More than 50 people usually work in the building, but only two people were present at the time of the collision because most employees are presently working from home.

No major injuries were reported.

SooToday will have more information on this incident as it becomes available.
