Arrests On September 26, 2013 at approximately 11:41 a.m. officers observed the accused Tyler Wynne, age 20, walking on Wellington Street West. A check of the accused revealed an outstanding warrant dating back to August 6, 2013.

On September 26, 2013 at approximately 11:41 a.m. officers observed the accused Tyler Wynne, age 20, walking on Wellington Street West. A check of the accused revealed an outstanding warrant dating back to August 6, 2013. Officers checked the area and found the accused on the porch at 32 Wellington Street West, the current address of the accused. The accused was arrested at 11:45 a.m. The accused stands charged with the following charges: possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, weapons dangerous, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon while in a motor vehicle, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition, altering the serial number of a firearm, obstruct police and breach of probation. The accused will appear in bail court on September 27, 2013 at 10 a.m.

On the 26th of September, 2013 City police arrested a 41-year-old male for breach of recognizance. The accused contacted his ex-girlfriend through phone, text, Facebook and third party family members while being on conditions not to communicate with her. The conditions stem from a domestic related incident. He will be appearing in bail court today.

A house in the area of Gibbs st. was entered sometime between 8pm on the 24th of September and 6:30 p.m. on the 25th of September, 2013. A 30-pack of Bud Light, xm radio and food was taken.

In the afternoon of September 25th Patrol Officers were called to a residence on Farquhar St. for a break and enter. Officers learned that thieves had entered the residence and stole a quantity of cash and several rings.

On September 25 shortly before midnight officers at The Canadian Border Services Agency at the International Bridge issued a driver a roadside screening test which he failed. Police Officers were called to the Bridge Plaza and continued the arrest of Ryan Benjamin, age 38 of 480 Morin St. Sault Ste. Marie Ontario for Driving over .08. Benjamin was brought to the Police Services Building for breath tests and subsequently was charged with Driving over .08. He will appear in court on October 21.

On September 25 at 11 p.m. Robin Delhenty, age 27 of 135 Cambridge Place took a taxi cab to an east end residence. When he arrived at the residence he refused to pay the cab driver for the taxi fare. Police Officers were called to the home on Adrian Dr. and spoke to Delhenty who refused to pay for the cab fare. While speaking to the Officers, Delhenty pulled a 12 inch steak knife from behind his back and threatened the Police Officers with it. Officers were able to disarm Delhenty without injury. He was arrested and charged with Assaulting a Police Officer with a Weapon and Fraud in Relation to Taxi Cab Fare. Delhenty will appear in court on September 26.

On September 26 at 3:40 a.m., a 32-year-old male turned himself in at the Police Station. The male had warrants for his arrest from a domestic incident where he stole cheques from his ex-spouse. The male then allegedly cashed the fraudulently prepared cheques. He has been charged with theft and fraud. He will appear in court on September 26.
