Female Charged with Aggravated Assault in Domestic Related Incident: A 27 year-old female was arrested on the 8th of October at 7:25 at her residence and charged with one count of aggravated assault.
Female Charged with Aggravated Assault in Domestic Related Incident:

A 27 year-old female was arrested on the 8th of October at 7:25 at her residence and charged with one count of aggravated assault. It is alleged that on the 8th of October at approximately 7 pm the accused got into a verbal argument with her boyfriend at her residence and stabbed him in the arm area with a knife. The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Fourth Person Arrested in Relation to Cocaine Trafficking Joint Forces Investigation:

41 year-old Michael Jarvie was arrested on the 8th of October at 4:44 pm on Sackville Road and charged with two counts of conspiracy to traffic in a controlled drug or substance and one count of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance. It is alleged that this fourth accused was wanted in relation to the investigation involving members of the RCMP, the OPP and the Sault Ste Marie Police Service. Officers that have been looking for the fourth male since Friday located him driving his vehicle around 4:36 pm in the area of Sackville Road. The vehicle was stopped and the accused was arrested without incident. He is to appear in bail court this morning at 11 am.

Three Males Arrested After Drug Warrant Executed on Ascot Street.

On the 8th of October at 6:57am officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Street Team, Emergency Services Unit and Patrol Services executed a search warrant at 9 Ascot Avenue... During the course of the search Officers located a small amount of cocaine, cannabis resin, two prohibited weapons, packaging materials, and various other drug paraphernalia. As a result Arrested and Charged were the following:
1) 27 year-old Kenny Frigault of 9 Ascot Avenue was charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance.
2) 22 year-old Ricky Frigault of 9 Ascot Avenue was charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
3) 20 year-old Cody Marshall of no fixed address was charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance, one count of unauthorized possession of a weapon and one count of breach of probation.
All three are to appear in court on the 10th of November.

Motor Vehicle Collisions:

1) City police attended at the scene of a four vehicle collision that occurred at 1:06 pm on the 8th of October at the intersection of Lyons Avenue and Patrick Street. It is alleged that a Subaru that was westbound on Lyons Avenue turned left in front of a Pontiac that had been proceeding through the intersection resulting in a collision. As a result of the impact, the Pontiac struck a third vehicle, another Pontiac that was stopped at the red light on Patrick Street. This Pontiac was pushed into a Honda Civic that was also stopped at the red light behind it. The only person reported injured was the driver of the Subaru who was transported to hospital by ambulance for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries. This driver, 24 year-old Andrew Dear of #7-229 Upton Road was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with one count of left turn- fail to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid collision.

2) City police attended at a motor vehicle collision on the 8th of October at 3:46 pm on Great Northern Road that resulted in one driver and a passenger being transported to hospital for treatment of non- life threatening injuries. It is alleged that a Nissan that was travelling northbound on Great Northern Road was struck by a Chev Pick up that was exiting from the Canadian Tire Gas Bar. The driver of the Nissan, a 58 yer-old female and her 94 year-old female passenger were the two that were injured. The driver of the Chev Pick up, Richard Lapointe, of 18 Scrimger Avenue in Cambridge Ontario, was charged under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario with one count of fail to yield from driveway.

3) City police responded to a four vehicle collision at 2:21 pm on the 8th of October in the 900 block of McNabb Street that resulted in three drivers being treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries. It is alleged that the four vehicles, a Mazda, a Ford, and two Chevrolets were all proceeding eastbound in the area of 900 McNabb Street. The Ford, and one of the Chevrolets stopped behind a vehicle ahead that was going to turn into a private drive when the Mazda collided into the rear of Ford, pushing it into the other two vehicles. As a result, the driver of the Mazda, 69 year-old Vera Dupre of #204-147 South Market Street was charged under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario with one count of follow too closely.

Break and Enter Reports:

- A residence in the 600 block of Lennox Avenue was entered sometime between the 8th of October after 2:40 pm and the 9th of October 12:10 am. A Play station and three games were reported stolen.
- An attempt break and enter was reported to a garage on Routledge Avenue.
