54-year-old Jordon Cooper, of Patrick Street, was arrested and charged with theft at Walmart today.

54-year-old Jordon Cooper, of Patrick Street, was arrested and charged with theft at Walmart today. It is alleged that on May 29, 2014 at approximately 11:40 hours the accused, Jordan Cooper, concealed several items including an iPhone charger and clothing on her person and left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. Value of stolen goods is $201.83.

Yesterday afternoon a break and enter was reported to a storage unit on Bruce Street. A 20 HP Honda long shaft boat motor, 4 fishing rods and reels, a Hummingbird fish finder, a boat cover and a tool kit were taken.

Shortly after 4:30 a.m. this morning, a break and enter was reported on Chapple Avenue. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken. Damage was done to a piano in the residence.

On May 28 at 3 p.m., patrol officers arrested and charged a 26-year-old male following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. The male is alleged to have assaulted her by pushing her down and striking her. She received minor injuries in the assault. He also threatened to kill her. During the investigation officers learned a similar assault occurred on May 25. The male has been charged with two counts of assault and threatening death. He will appear in court on May 29.
