Weapons Found on Hillside Drive

On the 26th of March at approximately 12:35 pm members of the Emergency Services Unit, Patrol and Investigations Services attended at 83 Hillside Drive and arrested three unwanted persons from the residence. Police were concerned after receiving information that the individuals may be in possession of firearms.

The three individuals were taken into custody without incident. Officers located a 22 caliber revolver that was stolen in a break and enter to a residence on First Avenue on the 22nd of February 2008. Officer also located and seized ammunition for the revolver and a knife.
As a result, one female and two males were charged with one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm, one count of possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm with ammunition, one count of possession of a weapon obtained by crime, one count of careless storage of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm or weapon while prohibited from having a weapon or firearm and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. They are all to appear in bail court this morning.

1) Devon Erin Walsh (female), age 25, of 9 Euclid Road
2) Jason Michaud, age 31, of 158 Brien Avenue
3) Kerry Mearow, age 31, of no fixed address. This accused was also wanted on an outstanding parole revocation warrant.

Female Charged with Assault

A 46 year-old female was arrested on the 27th of March 2008 at 4:30 am at her residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that around 4 am this morning the accused assaulted her husband by pushing him. No injuries were reported. She is to appear in bail court this morning.
