Male Youth Arrested for Mischief and Assault with a Weapon: A 15 year-old male youth was arrested on the 17th of June at 8:21 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of mischief under $5,000.00.
Male Youth Arrested for Mischief and Assault with a Weapon:

A 15 year-old male youth was arrested on the 17th of June at 8:21 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of mischief under $5,000.00. On the 17th of June at approximately 6:30 pm city police received a call to a centrally located residence regarding a 15 year-old youth that was out of control. When officers arrived they discovered that the male caused an extensive amount of damage to his foster parent’s residence. It is alleged that the accused became upset with some household rules and smashed bedroom furniture, a stereo, a table, dishes, a dishwasher, and a door. The accused then went outside, grabbed a shovel and some rocks and started to hit the foster parent’s vehicle with them, breaking a window and causing several dents and scratches to the vehicle. It is further alleged that the accused struck his foster parent with some of the rocks, resulting in minor injuries. The accused is to appear in bail court his morning.

Shoplifting Charges:

1) 35 year-old Linda Desmoulin of 41 Grace Street was arrested on the 17th of July at 8:24 pm at the Station Mall and charged with one count of breach of a release document and one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 17th of June at approximately 7:40 pm the accused attended at the Stitches Store in the Station Mall and stole two pair of jeans and then entered the LCBO Store and stole a bottle of whiskey. The accused was apprehend by store security and held for police. At the time of the offence the accused was on a recognizance with conditions that she not attend at the Station Mall. She is to appear in court on the 20th of July.

2) A 15 year-old male youth was arrested on the 17th of June at 3:35 pm at Zellers in the Station Mall and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 17th of June the accused attend at the store and stole two cans of body spray and a pair of boots. The accused was apprehended by store security and held for police. He is to attend in court on the 14th of July.

• A CCM Mountain Bike, black and orange in colour, was stolen from just outside the Zellers Store at the Station Mall yesterday afternoon.
• A Red Line BMX Bike, purple in colour, was taken from the Bawating High School property yesterday.
