The Sault Ste Marie Police Service is investigating three robberies that occurred in the past two days. 1) The first incident occurred on Boydell Pl at approx. 8:00 pm.
The Sault Ste Marie Police Service is investigating three robberies that occurred in the past two days.

1) The first incident occurred on Boydell Pl at approx. 8:00 pm. In this occurrence the victim was walking on Boydell Pl when he was approached by two males. One of the males asked for a cigarette. The victim gave the two males some cigarettes and then walked away. While the victim was walking on Charles St. he was approached by the same two males and was asked for a lighter. When he gave them a light they demanded money from the victim. The victim gave the suspects a small amount of cash and his cigarettes. The suspects then sprayed the victim with a liquid similar to bear spray or pepper spray.
Suspects are described as:
1. Male, white, 17 -20 years of age, 6” - 6”4” tall, skinny build, wearing dark clothing, turtle neck pulled up over his face and a toque pressed down on his face.
2. Male, white,17-20 years old, 5'11 to 6', stockier build, also dressed in dark clothing with a toque on his face and turtle neck pulled up upon his face.

2) The second incident occurred on Tuesday December 11th at approx. 11:00 pm. In the incident a lone male entered Gus’ Pizza, at 146 Queen St. E. pulled out a hand gun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect obtained and an undisclosed amount of cash and fled west on Queen St. towards Gore St. Suspect is described as: Male, white, approx. 6’ tall, heavy build, wearing a dark blue or black hoody with a black jacket.

3) The third robbery occurred early this morning on Dacey Rd. At approx.1:30 am a male was walking along Dacey Rd. when he was approached by three males. One of the males asked for a lighter from the victim and then demanded his money. When the victim did not give them his money they sprayed him with a liquid similar to bear spray or pepper spray. The victim was then punched in the face. Victim walked to a residence for assistance and the suspects fled north on Dacey Rd. The suspects are described as:
1. Male, white, 5'8”-5'9” tall, 16 years of age, 140 -150 lbs, slim build, wearing a light winter jacket with a hood.
2. Male, white, 5'3” tall, 15-16 years of age, 110-120 lbs slim build, wearing a darker winter jacket.
3. Male, white, 5' tall, 14 years of age, smallest of the three, wearing a winter jacket with hood.

The following two persons will be appearing in bail court today.

1) A 38-year-old male was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with four counts of sexual interference and two counts of sexual assault. It is alleged that between June 2007 and Nov 2007 the accused sexually assaulted and sexually interfered with a female family member under the age of 14 years.

2) A 25-year-old female was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of mischief. It is alleged that the accused did on Dec 11th assault her common-law boyfriend by throwing a knife at him and damaging a bathroom door. The victim in the incident was not struck by the knives and did not suffer any injuries.
