24 year old Samantha Dunlop of 1932 Second Line West was arrested on a warrant for theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property. It is alleged that in December of 2012 she stole a cell phone and cash. She will be appearing in court on October 21st.
21 year old Christopher McKeachnie of 98 Chambers Avenue was arrested and will be appearing in WASH (Weekend and Statutory Holiday) court this morning. It is alleged that on the 14th of September the accused breached a release document by consuming alcohol while he was on a condition not to. It is further alleged that upon being arrested the accused resisted and struggled with officers as they attempted to get him into the police vehicle. He is charged with one count of breach of a release document and one count of resist police.
A break and enter was reported to a residence in the 100 block of Reid Street. It is not believed that anything was taken and that the culprits were scared off by an alarm system in the house.
Documents were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Wallace Terrace. The theft occurred between 11:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m.
