On May 10, City Police officers conducted a routine traffic stop after witnessing a vehicle going through a red light on Second Line at Korah Rd. Further investigation revealed that driver was impaired.

On May 10, City Police officers conducted a routine traffic stop after witnessing a vehicle going through a red light on Second Line at Korah Rd. Further investigation revealed that driver was impaired. 59-year-old Mark Lewis of Andrew was subsequently arrested and charged with impaired driving and drive over the legal limit. He is to appear in court on June 16 2014.

A 24-year-old male was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and one count of mischief. Officers were called to west end residence for a domestic incident and investigation revealed that the male had allegedly assaulted a female victim and punched holes in her wall. Further investigation revealed an assault allegation that occurred earlier in the year. He is now scheduled to appear in WASH court this morning.

On May 10, City Police received a request from Sudbury Regional Police to locate a female that was in the Sault. The female was wanted on several charges resulting from a home invasion in Sudbury. The officers checked several addresses and the female was located and arrested. She was arrested for assault with a weapon, possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon, administering a noxious substance, attempt break and enter, mischief under $5,000 and possession of a weapon contrary to an order. 26-year-old Naomi Shawana of no fixed abode is being transferred back to Sudbury to answer to the charges.
