On February 9 at 2:30 a.m. a 14-year-old young person attended at his residence in an intoxicated state. The young person was on conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and not to molest his guardian.

On February 9 at 2:30 a.m. a 14-year-old young person attended at his residence in an intoxicated state. The young person was on conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and not to molest his guardian. The youth would not listen to his guardian and became abusive towards her. Police Officers were called and the young person was arrested and charged with two counts of breach of undertaking. The youth will appear in court on March 11.

On February 8 shortly before 4 a.m. Patrol Officers were call to the Sault Charity Casino for a complaint of a male passing counterfeit money. Officers learned a male had passed five counterfeit bills to the casino staff. Police arrested and charged Jordan Fray, age 20 of North Service Rd., Mississauga Ontario, with possession of counterfeit currency, uttering a forged document and fraud under $5,000. He will appear in bail court on February 10.

On February 8, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by the Emergency Service Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Hughes St. Police arrested and charged Paul Joseph Wilson, age 55 of Hughes St. with two counts of possession of a controlled drug. Wilson was found in possession of a small amount of marihuana and cannabis resin. He will appear in bail court on March 10.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is currently at the scene of a serious incident at 142 Albert Street East. Police received a 911 call to attend the residence at 17:28 hrs. Both the police and ambulance attended the scene where they located a 36-year-old male suffering from life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing and being managed by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Investigation Services Division. There is no further information available at this time. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Sault Ste.
