Sault man charged with cashing cheques that weren't his

On April 5, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 42-year-old Christopher Michelin.

It’s alleged between Feb. 26 and March 15, 2018 the accused cashed a number of cheques not belonging to him with a total value of approximately $5,300.

He is charged with four counts of uttering a forged document and four counts of possession of stolen property. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 13, 2019.
