Afternoon news 46-year-old Sean McLarty of no fixed address was picked up by officers in Parry Sound and returned to Sault Ste. Marie.

46-year-old Sean McLarty of no fixed address was picked up by officers in Parry Sound and returned to Sault Ste. Marie.  He was arrested on several warrants for charges of break and enter, possession of stolen property, driving while disqualified, threatening and breaches.  He had previously been arrested and was to have appeared in court but failed to do so.  He will be attending bail court Monday morning.

A resident in the 200 block of Albert Street West reported their garage was broken into. Three cans of gas were stolen.

Morning news

In the afternoon on September 27 20-year-old Ronald Lecuyer of 33 Albion Street was arrested by City Police for unlawfully in a dwelling. It is alleged Lecuyer entered a residence on Chapple Street without the permission of the owner and assaulted another person in the residence. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on October 28.

A 55-year-old male was arrested on September 27 with regards to a domestic related incident. It is alleged he threatened two female victims known to him as well as assaulting one of them and breached a condition of a recognizance he was on not to molest, harass or interfere with one of the victims. He will be appearing in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) Court later this morning.
