Between September 6 and September 24, 2013 it is alleged that the accuse William Khull, age 56 of 112 Dennis Street, Apt. B, was at 446 Great Northern Road, (Walmart) working for a local vending company.

Between September 6 and September 24, 2013 it is alleged that the accuse William Khull, age 56 of 112 Dennis Street, Apt. B, was at 446 Great Northern Road, (Walmart) working for a local vending company. On at least two different occasions, the accused [allegedly] entered two vending machines that he had no permission to enter and extracted the change from the machines. The accused worked for a different company at that time. The accused was arrest on October 5, 2013 and charged with fraud, under $5,000, false pretences under $5,000 and theft under $5,000. The accused will appear in court on November 4, 2013 at 9 a.m.

On October 5, 2013 at approximately 2:49 p.m., it is alleged that the accused Joseph Daniel Fabiano, age 19 of 266 Walnut Street, was in Winners Department store in the Cambrian Mall. An off duty OPP officer noticed two workers form Winners chasing the accused. The accused was apprehended and a jacket valued at $99.99 was recovered. The accused was arrest for theft under $5,000. The accused will appear in court on November 4, 2013 at 9 a.m.

On October 4, members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Emergency Services Unit, Crime Suppression Unit and Canine Unit executed a search warrant on Biggings Avenue. During the course of the search, 6 grams of marihuana, 84 grams of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, debt lists and a quantity of cash were all seized. As a result, 46-year-old John Speers of 173 Biggings Ave was charged with two counts of being in possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on October 21.

A 25-year-old female was arrested by City Police friday afternoon and charged with breaching a condition of her Undertaking. It is alleged she called and texted her ex common-law boyfriend when she was on conditions not to do so. She will be appearing in Provincial Court on November 6.

Two male shoplifters were charged by City Police early Friday evening after they left the downtown Wal-Mart without paying for two cases of baby formula. The males are known to each other and one of them is a young offender. They both will be appearing in court at a later date.
