In the overnight hours a vehicle was broken into in the area of Danby Road. The rear window was smashed out. Nothing appeared to be missing. * * * There was a bear observed in the area of Foxborough Trail.

In the overnight hours a vehicle was broken into in the area of Danby Road.  The rear window was smashed out. Nothing appeared to be missing.

There was a bear observed in the area of Foxborough Trail.  The bear was in the dumpster and appeared to be somewhat aggressive.  The bear went back into the bush.

On October 11th at 5:12 pm Police Officers attended Romes for a shoplifter. Officers learned that a female had concealed several items on her person and left the store without paying.  Officers subsequently arrested and charged Kathleen Black, age 80 of 310 Brule Rd. with Theft under $5,000.00. She will appear in court on November 18th.

On October 12, 2013 at 12:45 am Police were called to the Nicolet Tavern on Albert St. West for a male that was causing a disturbance. Officers met with Cleis Neveau, age 26 of 1894 Mission Rd. Goulais River at the entrance to the tavern. Neveau was intoxicated and was punching the walls, along with wanting to fight other persons in the tavern. Police Officers arrested Neveau for Causing a Disturbance by being intoxicated. Neveau struggled with the officers while he was being arrested. No one was injured in the incident. Neveau has been charged with Causing a Disturbance, Resisting Arrest and Breach of Probation. He will appear in court on November 18th.
