53-year-old Lawrence Steinburg of Grace Street was charged by City Police officers today with one count of mischief. It is alleged he attended to a residence in the 200 block of Albert St. E. and damaged a door of a male living in an apartment at that residence. He will be appearing in Provincial Court January 20, 2014.
Officers responded to six domestic incidents and two family disputes overnight.
A 27-year-old male is in custody awaiting WASH (weekend and Statutory Holiday Court) for allegedly to having threatened to kick his estranged girlfriend’s door in and assault her. He was also subject to a probation order preventing him from harassing her.
