On April 11, 2014 at 7:20 pm Police officers attended a residence on Albert St. East for a domestic disturbance call.

On April 11, 2014 at 7:20 pm Police officers attended a residence on Albert St. East for a domestic disturbance call. Officers found that a 42-year-old male had [allegedly] entered his ex-girlfriend’s home and broke numerous items in her residence. He also assaulted her. The victim did not require medical treatment. Officers learned the male was on three probations orders with numerous conditions not to associate with the victim. Further the accused was to be serving an intermittent sentence at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre on the evening he was arrested. Officers arrested and charged the male with assault, mischief under $5,000, eight counts of breach of probation, and being unlawfully at large. He will appear in wash court April 12.

In another domestic related call from April 11, Police officers arrested and charged a 46-year-old male with Assault. The male had [allegedly] grabbed his spouse and pushed her into the side of their vehicle. The victim did not require medical attention. The accused appear in WASH court April 12.
