Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has been securing a police scene in a downtown alleyway since Saturday.
The civic address is in the 200 block of Albert Street East. Reader-submitted photos show police, fire and EMS attending the property Saturday.
Police confirmed with SooToday that it's currently holding a scene there. Further details aren't being released at this time due to the nature of the investigation.
There is no concern for public safety, police say.
The property was the subject of a SooToday article last month, where a neighbour complained about trash there.
The investigation is ongoing.
