Police raided a Pim Street residence on Wednesday, arresting two people and seizing drugs, phones, scales and thousands of dollars in cash.
Seven people were inside the residence — part of a multi-unit building in the 400 block of Pim Street — when police arrived, but five people were released unconditionally, Sault Police said in a release today.
Police seized about four grams of suspected cocaine and less than one gram of suspected methamphetamine. Officers also took away digital scales, cellular devices, debt books, packaging materials, a cutting agent, and $65 in Canadian currency. A subsequent search of the accused whose residence it was, found them to be in possession of approximately $6,335 in Canadian currency. A search of the second accused located approximately two grams of suspected methamphetamine. The combined value of all of the drugs seized is estimated by police to be roughly $776.
