A man faces impaired driving charges after an incident that took place earlier this week, Sault Ste. Marie Police said in a media release issued today.
Around 1:20 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police say that they observed a vehicle suddenly pull over to the side of the road and watched the driver exit the vehicle and begin walking away from the area.
Officers then conducted a traffic stop and asked the driver to return to the vehicle, where they determined he was impaired.
He allegedly failed a roadside sobriety test and roadside drug evaluation, and as a result, Darren Kudyba, 33, was arrested and charged with:
- Impaired driving – alcohol and drugs.
He is scheduled to appear in court on March 22.
