Evening news 39 year old Annette Denis of Gilles St. was arrested at the court house on outstanding warrants for Threatening and 4 counts of Breach of an Undertaking.

39 year old Annette Denis of Gilles St. was arrested at the court house on outstanding warrants for Threatening and 4 counts of Breach of an Undertaking. It is alleged that on the 13th of September the accused was at her residence at the time on Fifth Ave where she threatened to kill a family member of a tenant in the same building. She was also on an undertaking at the time not to communicate or harass the victims. She is now scheduled to appear in court on November 4.

Morning news

Just before 4 am this morning City Police responded to a robbery at the Mac’s Mart on Gore Street.  A lone male entered the store, brandished a knife and demanded cash.  The male then fled the store on foot.  The male suspect was approximately 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall and was possibly wearing a red hoodie.  The suspect’s face was covered at the time of the offence.  The suspect made off with a small undisclosed amount of money and several packages of cigarettes.  The clerk was not physically harmed. Patrol officers and the K-9 Unit checked for the suspect with negative results.

Just after 4 am City Police attended at H.R. Lash on John Street for a break and enter.  Approximately 40 leather jackets were taken.

Between 4 am and 10 pm on the 4th of October a residence on Brien Avenue was entered.  Some jewellery was taken.

Between the morning hours of the 3rd of October and the morning hours of the 4th of October a home on Montgomery Avenue was entered.  Items taken include a wooden jewellery box with three antique Timex women’s watches, a black opal ring, a yellow men’s gold band and several gold chains.

Between the 5th of October and the 6th of October two sheds were broken into in the 300 block of McNabb Street.  Nothing was taken.
