20-year-old Alaina St. John of Old Garden River Road was arrested by city police on the 30th of March regarding her being wanted on breaching a condition of her probation order. It is alleged she was seen with a male, whom she was on conditions not to be with, at a restaurant on Great Northern Road on March 28. She will be appearing in Provincial Court May 5, 2014.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. last night, city police officers were on routine patrol in the downtown area when they observed a vehicle in which a male who was wanted, was possibly riding in. A vehicle stop was initiated and the male passenger identified himself with a name other than who the officers believed him to be. Another officer attended to the area and positively identified the male as 21-year-old Gregory Charrette of Metzger Street. Mr. Charrette was wanted on a Canada-wide parole warrant for breaching conditions of his release from a Federal Penitentiary. Upon his arrest, the accused was found to be in possession of an illegal drug. He was further charged with possession of a controlled substance and obstructing a police officer. He will be appearing in bail court later this morning.
