Domestic Related Arrests for Bail Court Appearance this Morning:

1) A 35 year-old male was arrested on the 21st of June at 4:52am at a centrally located residence and charged with break, enter with intent and three counts of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 21st of June at approximately 2:45 am the accused broke into his ex-common law spouse’s residence. At the time of the offence he was on conditions not to harass, molest, annoy or attend at her residence.

2) A 43 year-old male was arrested19th of June at 3:07 pm at his residence and charged with one count of one count of assault causing bodily harm, one count of mischief and one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 18th of June at 11 pm the accused attended the residence of his estranged common law partner, got into a verbal argument with her and assaulted her by pushing her into a wall. The victim had to be treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries as a result. It is further alleged that the accused broke a door and damaged some drywall in the home and stole a digital camera belonging to the victim.

3) A 32 year-old male was arrested on the 20th of June at 3:25 am at his residence and charged with one count of assault, one count of breach of recognizance and two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 20th of June at 12:30 am the accused got into a verbal argument with his common law spouse at their residence and slapped her. At the time of the offence the accused was on conditions not to molest, harass, or annoy her and he was to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

4) A 45 year-old male was arrested in the area of the Board Walk on the 19th of June at 10:31 pm and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 19th of June the accused was walking with his girlfriend in the area of the Board Walk when he assaulted her by punching her in the head and pinning her against a light pole.

5) A 38 year-old male was arrested on the 20th of June at 7:55 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault and one count of mischief. It is alleged that on the 20th of June at 5 pm the accused got into a verbal argument with his ex-common law that attended at his residence to drop off their child and when she was at4tempting to drive away he reached in and grabbed her by the arm in attempts to stop her from leaving. It is further alleged that he forced the passenger window down, damaging it as a result. He is to appear in court on the 22nd of July.

Female Arrested for Break and Enter:

A 17 year-old female youth was arrested on the 20th of June at 11:40 am and charged with one count of break, enter and commit, one count of mischief, one count of resist arrest, one count of threatening death or bodily harm and one count of assault peace officer. It is alleged that on Friday evening the accused broke into a home in the 300 block of St. Georges Avenue and stole jewellery and cash. While the accused was in the residence, she spread ice cream and pudding throughout the home and damaged a cordless phone and a Polaroid camera. The accused was located in the early morning hours, sleeping inside the home and when police were arresting her, she attempted to pull away, was verbally abusive, kicked and threatened to kill one of the officers. The accused is to appear in court on the 4th of August.

Male Arrested for Consuming Over the Legal Limit and Drug Possession:

40 year-old Murray Flethcher of 219 Meadowpark Crescent was arrested on the 21st of June at 12:37 am on Black Road and charged with one count of consume over the legal limit and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance. It is alleged that on the 21st of June at approximately 12:37 am city police stopped a vehciles on Black Road and the driver showed signs of impairment. The driver, the accused, was given a road side screening breathalyzer test and registered a fail. It is further alleged that officers located approximately 7.9 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle. He is to appear in court on the 27th of July.

Driver Charged with Consume Over the Legal Limit after Loosing Control of his Motorcycle:

59 year-old Kristie, Charles Hartman of 1008 Queen Street East was arrested on the 21st of June at 8:02 pm on Queen Street East and charged with one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that on the 21st of June at 7:49 pm the accused was involved in a single motor vehicle collision involving his motorcycle. The accused was operating his 2003 Yamaha eastbound on Queen Street East when he lost control of his motorcycle and it skidded on its side across the road. He was transported to hospital by ambulance for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He is to appear in court on the 27th of July.

Robbery Investigation:

Investigation Services are currently investigating a robbery at the I.D.A. Market Mall Pharmacy that occurred on the 20th of June at approximately 11:56 am. It is alleged that a lone male entered the Pharmacy advising that he had a gun. The suspect left with a quantity of Oxycontin and Percocet. He is described as a male in his 20’s, scruffy face, short reddish hair, wearing sunglasses, dark coloured pants and a black hoodie with “FOX” across the front in white.

Shoplifter Charged:

41 year-old Linda Martineau of 503 Second Line West was charged on the 20th of June at 2:22 pm with one count of theft under $5,000.00 at Rome’s Independent Grocery Store. It is alleged that on that date the accused attended at the store around 2:18 pm and stole some meat and chicken. She is to appear in court on the 20th of July.
