Male to attend bail court for breach of recognizance: On Sunday July 19th at approx. 5:00 am city police were called to a residence in the 200 block of Albert St. E. regarding an intoxicated male.
Male to attend bail court for breach of recognizance:

On Sunday July 19th at approx. 5:00 am city police were called to a residence in the 200 block of Albert St. E. regarding an intoxicated male. Upon arrival officers located Leo Anderson, age 26, of 332 Wellington St. E. allegedly in an intoxicated condition. Mr. Anderson was on a recognizance release order with conditions to not consume alcohol. Mr. Anderson is charged with one count of breach of recognizance.

Male charged with unlawfully in a dwelling and mischief:

On Friday July 18th city police attended at the Algoma Treatment and remand Centre and arrested Craig Muddimer, age 46. It is alleged that on July 12th the accused unlawfully entered a residence in the 100 block of
Hudson St. and while there he committed the offence of mischief.

Female arrested for false pretences:

On Saturday July 18th at approx. 9:00 pm city police received several complaints from residents on Lake St. regarding a female going door to door requesting money. It is alleged that the accused, who resides in Sault Ste Marie, was telling residents that she was from out of town and needed money to return home. Charged with one count of False Pretences is Emily Nethery, age 19, of 159 Pleasant Dr. She will be appearing in court on Aug 24th at 9:00 am.

Male arrested for assault:

On Friday July 17th at approx. 1:10 pm city police were called to Holy Angels School, 102 Wellington St. E., regarding an assault. Upon arrival officers spoke top a male victim and subsequently arrested a second male for assault. It is alleged that the accused punched the complainant. Charged with one count of assault is Willem Debruyne, age 51, of 584 Pine St. He will be appearing in court on Aug.17th at 9:00 am.

Female arrested for assault:

On Friday July 17th at approx. 1:40 am city police arrested 22-year-old Cory Green, of 120 Andrew St. It is alleged that on Wednesday July 15th the accused and another female assaulted the victim. The accused will be appearing in court on Aug 17th at 9:00 am.

Property Crimes:

Break and enter:


Cigarettes were stolen from a break and enter to Millie’s Mini Mart at 245 Goulais Ave.
Electronics were stolen from a break-in at a residence in the 300 block of Elizabeth St.
An attempted break-in was reported to a garage in the 200 block of Alexandra St.

Mischief:

Vehicles were reported damaged in the following locations:
The 100 block of Hillside Dr.
The 400 block of Charles St.
The 500 block of Korah Rd.
The 100 block of Glasgow Ave.
A pop vending machine located on the St. Mary’s River Dr. fishing pier was damaged.
Vandals damaged shrubs at the foot of the large cross at St. Basils School – 250 St. George’s Ave.

Theft:

A vehicle was entered in the 700 block of Pine St. – unknown what was taken.
Electronic items were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Trelawne Ave.
Lawn ornaments were stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Third Ave.
An electric welder was stolen from a residence in the 3900 block of Albert St. E.
A barbeque was stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Second Line W.
Bicycles were stolen from residences in the 300 block of John St and the 700 block of Second Line W.
A vehicle hood ornament was stolen in the 200 block of Alexandra St.
