On the 2nd of December, 2013 26-year-old Mary-Lynn Bjornaa of Wellington Street East was arrested on a warrant at the Sault Ste. Marie Court house. The warrant was for failing to attend for fingerprints in October 2013. Ms. Bjornaa was also wanted in relation to a breach of a conditional sentence order. She will appear in Bail Court on December 3, 2013.

On November 29, 2013 at approximately 11 p.m., an alert citizen contacted police to report damage to a motor vehicle in the 1000 block of Trunk Road. Unknown person(s) had thrown a bicycle through the windshield of an unattended vehicle.
On November 30, 2013 at approximately 2 a.m., an unknown male forced his way into a home in the 600 block of Queen Street West. The home owner located the male walking around in his living room. The suspect was told to leave and did so without incident. Police attended and searched the area but were unsuccessful in locating the suspect. Male is described as being six foot, two inches tall, heavy build, light coloured hair, short beard, blue eyes, wearing a dark grey jacket with white stripes, jeans, and white baseball hat. Nothing was taken from the home, and the suspect was believed to be heavily intoxicated.
A house in the Chapple Street area was reported as being egged sometime on December 1, 2013.
Morning news
On December 2, 2013 at approximately 2:10 a.m., Sault Ste. Marie Police responded to a domestic incident in the 200 block of Albert Street East. Upon arrival officer’s discovered that the accused, age 41, had smashed the victim’s computer and decorative figurines. The accused was arrested for mischief. Further investigation revealed that the accused was on probation and breached three separate conditions of the probation order. The accused will appear in court on December 2, 2013 at 10 a.m.
A 21-year-old female was arrested Friday and attended WASH court Saturday, November 30 on charges of breach of probation and mischief.
It is alleged that on November 29, the accused communicated with a female while being prohibited from doing so. The probation order is related to a previous domestic incident. Further, while in police custody the accused caused damage to the inside of her cell by scratching the cell walls.
