A Michigan resident has been accused of driving across the border while impaired.

At around 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, Canada Border Services Agency told Sault Ste. Marie Police they had detained a suspected impaired driver.

Arriving officers demanded a breath sample, which they say registered as a fail.
