Sault Police have charged Kenneth Hunt with robbery following an incident that occurred yesterday evening.
A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service alleges that the 24-year-old attempted to shoplift merchandise from a Trunk Road business.
It is further alleged that Hunt tried to strike an employee of that business.
Officers located and arrested the accused later that day.
Hunt was held for bail court and stands charged with robbery and breach of probation.
