On Feb. 26, 2019 officers with the Break and Enter Unit of The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 34-year-old Steven Turco of no fixed address for break and enter.
It is alleged between Dec. 23, 2018 and Feb. 18, 2019 the accused entered numerous buildings in different areas of the city. Once inside, he caused damage to equipment and took various amounts of money from each building.
The accused is charged with the following:
- Break and enter x13
- Mischief under $5000 x7
- Possession of break in tools x15
- Breach of recognizance x6
- Attempted theft
- Break and enter with intent
- Wearing a disguise x3
He was held for bail court
