UPDATE: Local company hoping someone can identify who stole its design computer

The company is offering a reward for details that help catch the thief

The Church Street office for Maker North Co. was recently broken into.

According to a Facebook post from late last week, the thief made off with money from their cash register and their main design computer, which they use for projects.

“This set back will not deter us,” said the company, a modern design-first manufacturing facility which offers 3D printing, laser cutting and more.

“We have this guy on video, if anyone recognizes him we would appreciate any help to (find) him.

“If we can get the computer back in one piece that would help us greatly. Unfortunately he kept his face hidden through most of the video but we posted the clearest shot of him we have.”

The company is offering a reward for details that help catch the thief.

*** This story was updated at 1:45 p.m. to include a photo of the truck believed to be involved in the heist. The folks at Maker North Co. think it is a black Dodge Dakota ***
