City Police Officers attended to an east end Apartment complex early this morning in response to a male to be removed. The male was removed from the apartment but later advised officers that his girlfriend had shot him in the back with a BB gun while he was still in the apartment. As a result a 20 year old female was charged with assault with a weapon and will be appearing in Provincial Court on November 20th.
Jessica Amy Rowan, 21 yrs., of 545 Nelson Street, was arrested on October 11, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. and charged with break and enter and commit theft and possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that the accused committed these offences by breaking into a home on Strand Avenue. The homeowner returned and confronted the accused in the residence. The accused was located a short distance away by Police with the assistance of the K9 unit. Rowan will be appearing in Court on November 18, 2013.
Tyler Nicholas Seaton, 26 yrs., of 18 Blucher Street was arrested on October 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in regard to outstanding warrants for Breach of Probation X 2. It is alleged that Seaton failed to report as required to his probation officer. Seaton was also wanted on a warrant for Theft under $5000 relating to a theft of a purse allegation on September 24, 2013. Seaton will be appearing in Court onNovember 18, 2013.

On October 10, 2013 at 5:30 pm Naomi Solomon, age 20 of 79 White Birch Dr. Garden River Ontario turned herself in at the Police Services Building. She was wanted for breaching her probation. She will now appear in court on November 18th.
On October 10, 2013 Police Officers attended an apartment complex on Goulais Ave. for a male who was yelling and swearing. The male’s actions were causing other residents of the building to be disturbed. Officers arrested and charged Gordon Leonard, age 47 of 203 Goulais Ave. with Mischief under $5,000.00. He will appear in court on November 18th.
