Afternoon news A 70 year old male was arrested in regards to a dated sexual assault complaint. It is alleged the accused did between January 2009 and December 2011 sexually assault three different victims.

A 70 year old male was arrested in regards to a dated sexual assault complaint. It is alleged the accused did between January 2009 and December 2011 sexually assault three different victims. The victims were all family members and under the age of 16. He is charged with 4 counts of sexual assault, 3 counts of sexual interference in regards to a child under 16, 2 counts of invitational to sexual touching to a victim under16 and 3 counts of sexual exploitation as being a person in trust or authority. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 28 2014. His name is not being released to protect the identities of the victims.

38 year old John Currie of 336 Albert St. West turned himself in on outstanding warrants for failing to appear prints X 2. He was printed and scheduled to appear back in court on April 28 2014.

Morning news

Two males will appear in bail court this morning charged with possession of marijuana. Tyler Guitard, age 21, and Joseph Parenteau, age 23, of New Brunswick were checked at Canada Customs after their GPS lead them over the International Bridge enroute to Alberta. They returned through Customs when they realized the directional error and a secondary search located the drugs. Both are charged with possession of a substance included in Schedule II to wit: cannabis marijuana under thirty grams, contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. 

A 15-year-old male was located on McNabb Street and charge with breach of probation conditions resulting from a robbery conviction. The male was charged with breaching a curfew condition and possession of drugs not prescribed for his use and will appear in court on April 29, 2014.
