The following persons will be appearing in bail court this morning: 1. A 24-year-old male. Early this morning the Sault Ste Marie Police Service was called to attend at a north-end residence regarding an assault and mischief complaint.
The following persons will be appearing in bail court this morning:

1. A 24-year-old male. Early this morning the Sault Ste Marie Police Service was called to attend at a north-end residence regarding an assault and mischief complaint. Investigating officers observed damage to two walls, in the residence and also received a complaint of an assault. It is alleged that the accused a 24-year-old male assaulted the victim by grabbing her and throwing her onto a bed and then striking her. It is further alleged that the accused threw a table at the victim. The victim did not require medical attention for her injuries. The accused is charged with one count of mischief and one count of assault.

2. At approx 11:15 pm yesterday evening city police arrested 20-year-old Norman Lund, of 634 Connaught Ave Apt # 202 and charged him with four counts of breach of recognizance. It is alleged that on December 5th and 6th the accused failed to abide with conditions of his release document by not complying with an 8:00 pm curfew, unless with his surety and by not being in his residence. The accused also changed residence with without notifying police.

3 & 4. Joshua Robertson, age 19, of 174 Wellington St. W. and an 14-year-old male.
It is alleged that at approx. 2:30 am this morning Joshua Robertson and a 14-year -old male used bolt cutters to gain entry to a fenced in parking garage. Once inside they stole items from a parked vehicle. Police were called and arrested the two males. Joshua Robertson is charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of theft under $ 5,000. one count of mischief and one count of possession of stolen credit cards.

Shoplifting from Rome's

Early yesterday evening city police were called to the Rome’s Grocers regarding a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers were informed by store security that they had apprehended a female shoplifter. It is alleged that at approx 6:00 pm 56-year-old Jo-Anne Bradley, of 79 Melrose Ave. attended at Rome’s and stole approx $180. worth of groceries. The accused is charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000. She will be appearing in court on Jan.21st at 9:00 am.

Car Accident on Lake and MacDonald

Yesterday afternoon, at approx. 1:45 pm the Sault Ste Marie Police Service attended at the intersection of Lake St. and MacDonald Ave regarding a three vehicle collision with injuries. The collision involved a blue Chev car, a red Ford van and a green Dodge pick up. Two persons involved in the collision were taken to the Sault Ares Hospital with injuries. City police are still investigating the incident. Any person that may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Traffic Services.

City police received one complaint of mischief overnight
A home in the 100 block of Boston Ave was egged yesterday.

City police received two complaints of theft from vehicles yesterday.

A car parked in the 100 block of Wellington St. E. was entered jewellery and electronic equipment was stolen.
A vehicle parked in the 300 block of Great Northern Rd. was entered - it is unknown what was stolen at this time.
