On the 6th December 2013, police were called to the area of Dacey Rd. regarding a domestic dispute.

On the 6th December 2013, police were called to the area of Dacey Rd. regarding a domestic dispute. It was discovered a female had become embroiled in an argument with her ex and [allegedly] decided to damage his Harley Davidson motorcycle by pushing it over and smashing out the lights. Charged with mischief is a 40-year-old female. She will be in bail court on the 9th December 2013 at 10a.m.

On the 6th December 2013, police were called to the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre. An altercation was reported between two inmates. Charged with assault is Corey Peplow (age 31) of no fixed address. He will be appearing in bail court on the 9th December 2013 at 10 a.m.

On the 5th of December, 2013 at 7:05 p.m. at the Walmart Store at 446 Great Northern Road,  Alec Lewis, age 22 of the 100 block of James St., was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000, resisting a peace officer, and assault. Lewis was observed by Walmart employees to take a cell phone without paying for it. When they confronted him he resisted Walmart staff by struggling them and biting one of them. The victim did not require medical treatment. He will appear in court on December 6 at 10 a.m.

On December 6, 2013 shortly after midnight, Cody Hurdle, age 18 of the 200 block of Beverley St., was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. Officers had learned that on December 5 he had pawned a cell phone that had been reported stolen. Hurdle will appear in court on January 6, 2014.
