On April 3, 2014 at 6:05 p.m., police officers arrested a 46-year-old male for failing to attend court on a previous domestic related charged. The male has been charged with Failing to Attend Court and will now attend court on April 4.

On April 3, 2014 at 6:05 p.m., police officers arrested a 46-year-old male for failing to attend court on a previous domestic related charged. The male has been charged with Failing to Attend Court and will now attend court on April 4.

On April 3, 2014 at 7 p.m., police officers were called to a west end residence for a family disturbance. Officers found a 15-year-old was arguing with his mother. The youth was also found to be in possession of over 100 grams of marijuana. Further, the young person was on a court ordered probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. The youth has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug and Breach of Probation. He will appear in court on May 13.

On April 4, 2014 shortly after midnight, patrol officers checked a 19-year -old male on Pim St. The male was wanted on for 3 counts of Breach of Probation stemming from a probation order from when he was a young person. Officers also learned he was wanted on two outstanding charges of possessing stolen property. The male was arrested and charged with these offences, along with two further Breaches of Probation for being out after his 11 p.m. curfew and failing to keep the peace. He will appear in court on April 4.

On April 4 at midnight, patrol officers arrested and charged a 22-year-old male with two counts of Threatening Death or Bodily Harm, two counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm and one count of Breach of Probation. Officers were acting on a complaint from the accused male’s sister who advised them the male had assaulted her on April 2. The victim received medical attention for her injuries. The male will appear in bail court on April 4.
