SAULT STE. MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On April 23, 2018 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Drug Enforcement Unit, Break and Enter Unit and Crime Suppression Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Warrant at a residence in the 100 block of James Street.
As a result of the search, officers located;
- 5.28 grams of crystal methamphetamine,
- .84 grams of heroin,
- 2.44 grams of fentanyl powder,
- 10 grams of crack cocaine,
- 12 5mg oxycodone pills,
- 37.46 grams of marijuana,
- .71 grams of cocaine, and;
- One can of pepper spray
The total value of the drugs seized was $4,861.
At the scene officers arrested 60-year-old Glenn Stevens of James Street. Mr. Stevens was charged with six counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of a controlled substance, one count of unauthorized possession of a weapon and one count of failing to comply with a probation order. He was held for bail court.
