Sault Ste. Marie Police have arrested a man after an alleged assault with a two-by-four outside a shelter on Queen Street West.
The incident took place at roughly 1 p.m. on April 10, when the suspect attempted to enter the shelter with the two-by-four but was not allowed to enter.
He then struck a victim with the two-by-four and fled.
The victim did not require medical attention.
Police located a suspect an hour later, and made the arrest.
Brooks Warmington, 30 years old, has been charged with assault and was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
