18-year-old turns herself in for trying to cash cheque that wasn't hers

On April 7, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 18-year-old Rune Laudadio of Blue Jay Court for possession of stolen property. 

It’s alleged on Jan. 7, 2019 the accused attempted to cash a cheque for approximately $438 at a local business. Staff determined the cheque didn't belong to her, refused to cash the cheque and police were called.

The accused turned herself into police on April 7, 2019 and was charged with one count of possession of stolen property, one count of obtaining credit by false pretence and one count of breach of probation. She is scheduled to appear in court on May 13, 2019.
