Help save the Y, one pay-it-forward membership at a time!

Buy a Y membership for a community member in need and have your contribution matched dollar for dollar 10 times by generous local businesses (up to $100,000)! 

For example, this means if you sponsor one youth monthly pass for $33.50, then $335.00 will be donated towards providing YMCA memberships for youth, families and seniors in our community. Donate below!   These sponsored memberships will offer priceless opportunities for community connection for children in need, families new to Sault Ste. Marie and seniors looking for a place to belong.

*All contributions are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.

Your support will help secure 169 local jobs, provide over 500 much-needed daycare spots, and maintain a community centre that benefits people of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds. You can purchase a pay-it-forward membership until July 16 at 5:00 p.m.

Please Read Carefully:

  1. All transactions (donation option) will be charged to your credit card at the time of purchase. 
  2. We strongly recommend NOT using a debit card.
  3. Select your ‘Donation ‘Option’ (Option A-I) ranging in cost from $33.50- $2,500. You may select to purchase more than one ‘Option’.
  4. All credit card charges will appear as VILLAGE MEDIA on your statement.
  5. A SooToday.com account is required for participation in this fundraiser. You can register for an account at: https://www.sootoday.com/account/register
  6. You must be signed in to your SooToday.com account to participate.
  7. At our sole discretion and for any reason, SooToday.com retains the right to revoke an account and cancel any transactions placed by that account. In the event an account is suspended or transactions are canceled, the account holder will be notified by email. If you have problems registering or logging in, please reach out to our customer service department at [email protected]. 
  8. All registration and information shall remain confidential within Village Media Inc. We will not share your information. 
  9. Donations can be made starting at 12:00 pm Toronto time July 11, 2024 and will be accepted until July 16, 2024 at 5:00 pm Toronto time.
  10. All transactions (donations) are considered to be final. You will receive a confirmation email after you have made an online donation. 
  11. Tax receipts WILL be issued for all donation options.
