Joseph Quigley

Joseph Quigley is NewmarketToday’s municipal reporter. He is a journalist who believes in the importance of local councils and is passionate about the political world, social justice and community service.

Joseph has reported in places across the country for five years, including Alberta and Haliburton, Ontario. He has contributed to award-winning newspapers and stories, including a runner-up for reporter of the year by the Ontario Community Newspapers Association.

Joseph is volunteer with the Haliburton Rotaract Club, completing service projects and acting as secretary. He has english and journalism degrees from Trent University and Loyalist College.
