A cold front moves across the region today, causing temperatures near freezing at noon to fall quickly throughout the afternoon and evening. With that front, a northwest wind pushes in scattered snow squalls, bringing another 5-10cm of new snow.
Much colder air arrives tomorrow, with daytime highs only reaching -7°C under partly cloudy skies. Clouds return in the evening, and there is a chance for light snow overnight.
Friday will be partly cloudy, with temperatures sneaking up to -4°C.
Even colder air arrives on Saturday, with daytime highs below -10°C all day under mostly sunny skies.
