A local artist's colourful pet portraits, aptly titled Colourful Canines, are creating a buzz not only here in Sault Ste. Marie, but with clients from across North America.

Brandie Sanderson is a local artist whose bright, unique work with animals is earning her a fast reputation with pet owners as a got-to contact for those who want to forever immortalize their four-legged friends. Brandie's clients are surprised when they learn she overcomes physical barriers to create her popular pop art pieces. Sootoday's Jasmyn Rowley stopped by Brandie's studio to learn more about her art.
