The 4th annual 5 kilometre run/walk to cure FOP is taking place on Saturday, August 8th at the Roberta Bondar Pavillion. FOP is a rare disease that causes bone to form in muscles, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissues. Sault Ste. Marie resident Ian Brodie has been living with FOP since the age of 9 and he met with LOCAL2's Shaylan Spurway to walk about the disease and the upcoming fundraiser.
