VIDEO: Connecting through the love of food - Sunset Noodle House

A meal is like a date, its all about first impressions

If you're a foodie in the Sault there's a good chance you've heard about Sunset Noodle House in Batchawana Bay.

The restaurant has been a hit with locals, even attracting visitors willing to make the drive to try some authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

The success of that establishment has allowed the couple, Chan Bui and Trieu Ngo, to open a new location in our downtown core.

Saulites can now stop by 133 Spring street to enjoy some Vietnamese coffee or sample one of the dishes from the thoughtfully crafted menu.

The menu is streamlined focusing on quality over quantity. The owners say having fewer items ensures every dish gets the attention to detail it deserves.

From the presentation to the flavours it's all about crafting an experience.

"I think cooking is an expression of love. When your cooking with your heart, all your thinking about is how that other person will enjoy it." says Chan. "It connects people. When a guest eats here, they're expressing their appreciation by loving the food and when I see that smile, it brings me joy and in that way, we are connected."
