A Quiet Riot concert won’t take place at The Machine Shop on Thursday after all.
The venue, which was booked by an out-of-town promoter for the event, has issued a news release directing fans to their box office and an online ticket site for refunds.
The Machine Shop says its venue was rented by promoter CSA International for the March 30 concert, which was postponed at the last minute (initially to May 25 and then to an unspecified date).
A contact listed on the CSA International Facebook page could not immediately be reached for comment Thursday evening.
The Machine Shop says it can refund tickets purchased at its box office, but cannot refund online tickets because the venue was rented by the Sudbury promoter for the show. Those who ordered online are being directed to eventbrite.ca for refunds.
